It's lengthy, but i wanna dedicate this space to my wife. Hope it insipres you in certain ways after reading. Ltt love not always be a sad & negative thing. It can sometimes be beautiful. So here it goes...... Back in MIRC days....my nickname was AcidBurn, inspired by the movie Hackers, starring Ethan Hawk. Through chatrooms, i got to know this lovely lady whom we stayed in touch via internet for almost a year. Finally we slowly evolved to pagers, typing script messages into our memo jazz. Each msg i rec, i smile everyday. Pouring out woes and sharing happiness, it was like a feeling of penpal.......so near, yet so far. I was 19 years old then. Finally after 2 years, we decided to meet up. It was short and brief at Paya Lebar Singpost office, Starbucks. But it was memorable. We kept in touch and we felt a sensation running through us. We confided in each other openly but could'nt be together for we were both attached at that point. I was 21 years old then Life is really just like corners. You never know what lies ahead of you. Time passed, we had our own fair share of relationships. When she was single, i was attached, and vice versa. Finally i went into army and she went overseas to further her studies. It reuptured my leg and when she was back in singapore for holidays, she tried contacting me but to no avail. When she found out from my parents about my accident, she rushed to hospital and broke down the moment she saw me. I was in bad shape. To make things worst, her bf then forbidded her to visit me as he always felt that i was a threat. I was hospitalized for a total of 18months. Yes....... 18 long months..............she went back to Oz for her studies >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fastforward >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm 26years old now.....single. She graduated from Australia and came back to work ......... single. However being friends for so long....we just chillled out as normal. But this time, things were different. We sparked & finally became an item.
